Spooky Ghost Halloween Mantel

I love decorating my mantel each year for Halloween. It’s always fun coming up with a new theme. This year I decided to change things up a bit and go with a Spooky Ghost Halloween Mantel, but don’t let the title fool you! This is a cute and not so scary spooky ghost mantel! It is filled with some fun diy’s that I created here along with some bargain finds! I’m super excited to share with you how it turned out. I hope to give you some ideas to create and decorate your own Spooky Ghost Halloween Mantel!

Last year, I did a Hocus Pocus Inspired Mantel. For the past few years I have gone with a witch theme. This year it was time to change it up and have fun with some ghosts!

Here’s a decorating tip!

When decorating your mantel for the seasons, try to incorporate your seasonal items with every day decor. This helps me because I have limited storage in my house for all of the decorations. With having a crafty page, I have a ton! Plus it helps with the transition between the seasons. Sometimes it can feel a bit overwhelming taking things down and putting them back up. As you can see, I kept my lanterns hanging and left the greenery underneath the spooky cloth. The black and white mixed in with a little bit of the rustic elements is a perfect combination in my book!

How adorable is this little ghost tree? Can you believe that it was made from all Dollar Tree items? You can see how I made it here.

The Spooky Ghost Garland is another fun craft that I created this year for the mantel. You can see how you can make one for yourself here! The ghost lights were a great find from Big Lots. They light up and sing Ghostbusters and have motion detectors! It’s fun to watch when someone walks into the room and they start singing as it gives them a little scare! 👻

Boo is the word!

This cute “Hey Boo” sign and the Boo sign to the right are both Dollar Tree creations! The felt bats are from the Dollar Tree too!

Candles are great for adding that mood lighting and I love using battery operated candles! The candlestick candles and the candlestick holders are both great Amazon finds. The candles in the lanterns are the most realistic battery operated candles that I have ever seen! These are a must buy if you are looking for good candles! You can find them here.

Watch here if you’d like to see the mantel lit up at night! It is a completely different experience! Bonus… you get a sneak peak of more of my Halloween decor!

This cute little ghost was a great find from Ross! I walked in and he was right there just waiting for someone to buy him! I just know that it was meant to be me. 😉. He looks perfect standing tall between the two black and white pumpkins. By the way, they are another fun diy and you can see how I made them here.

I hope that you all enjoyed looking at my Spooky Ghost Halloween Mantel and that you got some ideas to decorate your own! Please leave a comment below and let me know. My goal is always to inspire you all. Thanks for stopping by!
