Diy Dollar Tree Fall Truck

Hey, friends…I have another Dollar Tree craft to share with you today! I must admit that this one turned out pretty amazing and I think you are going to love it. This is a spin on one that I created earlier this year for Easter. You may have seen it, but just in case you haven’t, you can see it here. This Diy Dollar Tree Fall Truck is so easy to make and will look so cute with your Fall decor.

With that being said, grab your glue guns and a few of these Dollar Tree supplies and let’s get started!

2 wood truck fall cutouts from the DollarTree

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 2 DOLLAR TREE FALL WOOD TRUCK CUT OUTS
  • 1 SMALL WOOD CRATE FROM THE DOLLAR TREE
  • POPSICLE STICKS
  • GLUE GUN
  • PAINT COLOR OF YOUR CHOICE
  • SMALL DECORATIVE PUMPKINS
  • MOSS
  • EMBELLISHMENTS OF YOUR CHOICE
A wood crate box from the Dollar Tree and Waverly antique wax

I first began by painting the wood crate brown using some Waverly Antique wax.

Using hot glue to glue on a small wood crate to a dollar tree fall truck cut out.

Next, I hot glued the crate onto the back part of the trucks. This will become the bed of the truck.

It will look like this!

For the next step, you will grab the popsicle sticks and cut them to the width of the truck. Apply with hot glue.

Continue adding the popsicle sticks all the way down the front of the truck to make the hood and the bumper.

Now, repeat the same process for the top of the truck.

Here is what you will end up with. How cool is this?

Painting a dollar tree fall truck white.

This is where it gets really fun… painting and decorating it! I painted mine a vintage white as I wanted it to be a neutral color.

Painted pumpkins in blue and orange

I really love the blue tones that they are bringing out this year. Big Lots has a ton of beautiful Fall decor out right now in the blue tones. If you haven’t seen their Fall decor, you can check out my recent post here, sharing all of the Fall and Halloween decor they have out.

For the door, I cut out one of the small pictures from my Dollar Tree Farmers Market calendar. I applied it with some mod podge.

Decorating a dollar tree fall truck with pumpkins and moss.

To decorate the bed of the truck, I grabbed some moss, these little corn on the cobs and some pumpkins that I found at the Dollar Tree. With exception of the paint, you can get all that you need over there to make this truck.

What do you all think? I just love how it turned out. The best thing about this whole project is that only cost about $5.00 to make!
