Winter Wonderland Christmas Mantel

This year I wanted to completely change up the Christmas decor in my dining room and go with something completely different than what I normally do. I have always wanted to decorate in all white and neutral colors. The color scheme is so peaceful and calming and reminds me of a perfect, snowy Christmas. Since I live in Southern California and temperatures are usually in the 90’s at Christmas time, I decided to make my own little Winter Wonderland Christmas Mantel to at least make it feel like winter in my home.

I hope you all enjoy the tour of my dining room and feel inspired!

I recently gave my dining room a whole new makeover and that became the inspiration for the Winter Wonderland theme. You can see the makeover here. I love how color pops against the beautiful white.

Typically when I decorate, I use the base of my everyday decor and mix in the Holiday things. So, as you see there is a little bit of a rustic and French Country flair tied in with Christmas.

These lanterns were a great find from Michaels a few years back! I was lucky enough to find them on clearance and got a great deal on them. They are one of my favorite things! The small white tree is from Targets Dollar Spot. The white bottle brush tree and the white furry looking tree are both from Hobby Lobby.

My favorite Christmas song is “O Holy Night” and I was lucky to find this picture over at Hobby Lobby. Layering it on top of an old rustic window made it pop and created a beautiful back drop for it.

These cute, little houses are from Target. They were a great find for only $5.00 each.

How beautiful is this snowy garland? I fell in love with it and the sale price when I saw it at Hobby Lobby! LOL. I simply layered it with this Eucalyptus garland that I found over on Amazon. It comes with battery operated lights that have multiple settings, as well as a timer. I just set the time that I want them to come on and shut off! If you are interested in them, you can find them here in my Amazon Shop.

The vignette on top of the piano is a mix of diy’s that I have made and things that I have picked up along the way. The garland was an absolutely great find from the Thrift Store!

As you can see, there is definitely a tree theme going on. These tree pictures are a few diy’s that I made using Dollar Tree supplies. If you like them and are interested in making them for yourself, you can see how I made them here.

This beautiful Angel was the tree topper on my parents Christmas Tree. It’s a beautiful tribute to both of them and sits right beside my Angel Tree that I put up every year in honor of loved ones that have passed.

I hope that you enjoyed the mantel tour! I would love to know if you have a favorite part.

Here is a picture of what the Winter Wonderland Christmas Mantel looks like at night! I love the glow of the lights as it gives it that extra cozy feel! What do you think?
