Diy Sweater Candle Holder

Do you happen to have any old sweaters hanging around in your closet that you no longer wear? Well, I have a diy craft that will show you how you can totally re-purpose and use them for cute home decor! If you don’t have any old sweaters, head on over to the thrift store like I did and pick up one for a few dollars. Thrift stores always have a ton of sweaters in a variety of colors and patterns that are perfect to make this diy sweater candle holder.

Make a Diy Sweater Candle Holder

It is so easy to make this diy sweater candle holder. You can make a few of them in just a few minutes and with only a few supplies. You can re-purpose glass jars for this craft or you can find some glass candle holders over at the Dollar Tree. For this craft, I used one from the Dollar Tree.

The sleeves of the sweater work best for this craft, as you will just simply slip the sleeve over the glass candle holder. If your glass container is too big for the sleeve, you can cut out a piece of the sweater and measure the size that you need. Wrap it around your glass container and use hot glue to secure it.

As you can see the sleeve slipped perfectly over the Dollar Tree glass candle holder.

Add some decorations to your Diy Sweater Candle Holder!

Walmart has these cute mini ornaments and you get 6 of them for $1.98. One of them was just perfect to add as a decorative element. I tied some jute around the top part of the candle holder and added a little sprig of greenery. That’s all there is to it!

I just love how cute and easy this was to make. You can make multiple colored ones or you can easily change out the sweater for the seasons or incorporate into your everyday decor!
