Lemon Inspired Summer Kitchen

Are you looking for some creative ways to decorate your kitchen for Summer? Adding vibrant and cheery colors is the perfect way to add some Summer flair to your home. The kitchen is always the hub of the house and makes for a perfect room to decorate. This year I decided to add some bright pops of yellow and creamy whites to my kitchen to brighten it up a bit. I was inspired by the lemons this year so I am super excited to show you all my Lemon Inspired Summer Kitchen!

How to Decorate your Lemon Inspired Summer Kitchen

For the most part I shopped around my home and used decor that I already had. But, I did pick up a few new items too! I found the “Where troubles melts like Lemon drops” sign on Amazon. I love this quote! It makes me sing it as I read it and that makes me happy! You can find the sign here.

The lemon picture is from Home Goods from a few years ago. The riser that you see holding the lemons is a diy home decor piece that I made from Dollar Tree items. It’s very simple to do and you can see how to make it here. The inspiration came from some candleholders that I purchased from Hobby Lobby a few years back.

I found this beautiful eucalyptus garland that I strung over the window on Amazon. It comes with these twinkling fairy lights that look so whimsical when lit up at night. You can find them here. I can’t wait to use them on my mantel too!

If you haven’t checked out Home Goods yet, you have too! They have the cutest lemon decor out right now. I found these spatulas in the check out aisle. That darn check out aisle gets me every time! What about you? The same goes for Targets Dollar Spot. I found the small cheese boards there.

Lemons, Lemons and more Lemons!

The Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby is where I have found most of the lemons that you see here. Of course, you can use real lemons too!

To step up your hand soap game, place it in a little riser to add a decorative touch. I added my homemade lemon and lavendar sugar scrub in with it. The scrub is so simple to make and leaves your skin so smooth! You can find the recipe on how to make your own here. You may have already have the ingredients sitting in your pantry.
