Having a fiesta themed party and are looking for a fun tablescape idea? Whether you are hosting a group of friends for Cinco De Mayo, Taco Tuesday or just want to create a fun table for your family, you’ll love this Fiesta Tablescape idea. Here you will find a laid back tablescape that incorporates decorations from the Dollar Tree along with a mix of other simple and affordable decor. I want to show you how you can set a beautiful table with these budget friendly items.
l love all things that have to do with celebrating Cinco De Mayo and Taco Tuesday! I love the food, drinks and the whole atmosphere. The combination of the vibrant colors are just stunning and create a happy vibe.
This whole tablescape idea was inspired by this Fiesta kit that my husband bought from Costco. It came with a tortilla warmer, serving platter and 4 taco holders. The color combinations are vibrant and beautiful and set the scene for a colorful table. If you don’t have a Costco membership no worries, I have found a similar one here if you are interested in one for yourself.
I was The Dollar Tree the other day and came across the cutest fiesta decor in the party decor section. They had mini sombreros, colorful plates in both plastic and paper along with matching napkins. In addition, they had some really cute Taco Party Banners. In my cart they went as they were a perfect addition for my Fiesta Tablescape.
These mini sombrero’s were perfect to use as a napkin holder! I wrapped a napkin around the utensils and wrapped the mini sombrero around it. How cute is that?
Create a focal point for your Fiesta Tablescape
Decorating a tablescape is all about getting creative. As you can see here, I used a candy bowl and placed lemons and limes to create color and a fun piece for the table center.
I used Dollar Tree florals, succulents and greenery to come up with a creative centerpiece. Candles are a great way to fill in any blank areas. Create areas of different heights for a visual interest. Use risers, books, bowls, etc. to elevate things.
Small ice cream bowls from the Dollar Tree will serve as individual salsa bowls for each guest. By the way, I have a great recipe for homemade salsa that you can find here.
Don’t forget to PIN for later!!!
I hope that you enjoyed these ideas to incorporate into your own Fiesta Tablescape! As you can see, it really doesn’t have to cost you a lot of money to create and decorate a beautiful table for your party.
