There’s just something about Mason Jars. They symbolize Spring and Summer to me. Who doesn’t like to have a big ole mason jar filled with some Sweet Tea, while sitting on your porch feeling the warm breeze of a Spring and Summer day. If you close your eyes, you can just picture the scene and smell all of the wonderful scents of fresh bloomed flowers in the air. Imagine the bees are buzzing by doing their thing, the dragonflies are flying freely around, all while the birds are chirping in the background. Sounds like a perfect kind of day! This easy Dollar Tree Floral Mason Jar sign that I’m about to share with you feels just like that…happy and joyful! It will be such a great addition to your decor and would be absolutely adorable on your front porch!
Here is what you’ll need:
- Galvanized Mason Jar sign from the Dollar Tree.
- Jute Twine
- Popsicle sticks
- Green paint
- White paint
- Paintbrush
- Glue gun
- Fabric Flowers
When I picked up this galvanized mason jar sign from The Dollar Tree, I honestly wasn’t sure what the heck I was going to do with it. All I knew at the moment is that it was cute and I needed to have it! After staring at it for a while, the idea finally popped in my head!
Let’s get to creating!
First, I started by taking two popsicle sticks and painting them green. These will end up being the stems for the flowers.
Next, I took the jute twine and wrapped it around the top of the jar. I used hot glue to secure it.
Using my white paint, I painted the word BLOOM on to the front of the jar. It took about 2 coats.
Once it was dry, I flipped it over and applied the popsicle sticks to the back with hot glue. I staggered the height to allow a good placement for the fabric flowers.
Next, I flipped it back over and I used hot glue to apply the fabric flowers to the popsicle sticks.
That’s all there is to it! This project just couldn’t get any easier. I can’t wait to hang it up on my front porch to welcome the Spring season!

Our Dollar Tree doesn’t have the metal mason jars and everywhere I go I look for them and I can’t find any so where can I get some?
