Pool Noodle Popsicle Sign

Hey there friends! I have the CUTEST project to share with you today. It is a PERFECT craft for your Summer decor or a great idea to add to a party theme. It will require you to head on over to The Dollar Tree, darn it! LOL I say that like it’s a bad thing! Any excuse that I have to head there, means that it’s going to be a good day. This Pool Noodle Popsicle Sign will only cost a few dollars to make, BUT it will make a HUGE impact on your Summer Decor! Trust me… it is that cute!!!

Let’s get started!!

Here is what you’ll need:

  • Dollar Tree 8×10 canvas
  • Pool Noodle from The Dollar Tree
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Glue gun
  • A variety of paint colors
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

Step 1:

Begin by painting your canvas whatever color that you choose. I used baby pink in Folk Art paint.

Step 2:

Using a small paint brush, begin by adding polka dots in different paint colors. These are the ones that I worked with.

Step 3:

Next, grab the pool noodle and cut it to the size that you want your popsicle to be in length. Now you will want to cut it in half.

Step 4:

Paint the words, “STAY COOL” on the top part of the sign.

Step 5:

Glue your “POPSICLES” onto the canvas with your glue gun.

Step 6:

Grab a popsicle stick and cut it in half. Apply some hot glue to the canvas and slide the popsicle stick slightly underneath the pool noodle.

Step 7:

Glue some fun and colorful ribbon onto the base of the popsicle or where ever you would like to add it! I found this adorable pom pom ribbon at the Dollar tree.

That’s all there is to it! I told ya this was a cute one! Imagine how adorable they would look if you were having a popsicle or ice cream themed birthday party. These are super affordable to make, so you can really have fun making a few different ones. You can make them different sizes too! The possibilities are endless.

I have mine displayed with my front porch decor. You can watch a video of how I made the other pool noodle popsicle sign here. If you would like to know how I made the Summer Popsicle Banner sign, you can see it here.
