How to make a Dollar Tree Heart Wreath
Let me start by saying that this craft just couldn’t be any easier to make! You will begin by using 3 of the wooden hearts. For this one, I chose two of the raw wood ones and one red one. Using a hot glue gun, glue them onto the sides of the wreath.
To create a hanger for the wreath, I took a piece of ribbon and looped it around the top. I secured the two ends together using hot glue.
To create a little detail, I used some red and white twine and raw colored twine and glued it on top of the red ribbon. Next, I added a small heart to the top of the twine. This is a very simple design, but of course you can get as creative as you would like with yours. I wanted something simple with small pops of color.
Here are a few different ways to decorate using your Dollar Tree Heart Wreath
Sometimes it can be a little tricky figuring out how to decorate using a small wreath like this. Here a few different ideas that I use the small wreath in my decor. One is to simply place it over some greenery for a fun pop of color.
I love these small candle lamps that I found over at Hobby Lobby a few years ago. To add a decorative touch, I simply bent the wire ribbon and placed the wreath over the top. At night when the candle is lit, it creates a beautiful glow.
For a unique idea, I placed it on top of a riser and created a cute Valentines display. By the way, how darling is that little gnome? He is another Dollar Tree craft that I made. You can learn how to make it here.
As I mentioned before, you can make these in a variety of colors to match your everyday color scheme. I made this one for my living room.
