Outdoor Fall Table

Fall is officially here! Can you believe it? I love this time of the year and all the cozy vibes that come along with it. The weather here in Southern California is still hot, but it’s starting to cool down a bit and I am thankful for that. This weekend was perfect for some outdoor dining in the backyard, so I grabbed a few things and created a beautiful Outdoor Fall Table to set the season off. It’s decorated with all the traditional Fall colors that make a warm and cozy space and the outdoor landscape provides a perfect backdrop.

In today’s blog post, I’ll show you how easy it is to set a casual and beautiful Fall Table using a few simple things. So grab your pumpkins and coffee and let’s get started!

Here a few tips before we begin

Before you begin any tablescape or decorating idea, I suggest that you start with a theme and go from there. It makes the process a whole lot easier if you have some kind of idea. Now, if you are anything like me the ideas come as you are decorating. The creativity starts to flow like crazy as I am decorating and for me that’s part of the fun!

Another tip that I have for you is to shop around your house first. I think shopping around your house is always your best bet because chances are you have a good amount of items that you can use to help save you some money. Listen… I am all about creating a beautiful home on a budget without it looking like you are on one! For this Outdoor Fall Dining Table, I did pick up a few essentials from Hobby Lobby and mixed them in with some decor that I found while shopping around my home.

Greenery and garlands can often be a bit pricey unless you find them on sale. Hobby Lobby just so happened to have all of their Fall items at 50 percent off when I went, so I picked up a few Fall leave garlands. However, the regular green garlands were not on sale. That’s when shopping around your own yard comes in handy! Grab some sprigs off a tree in your yard and you have a deal!

Let’s get started decorating!

Creating different layers, textures and colors creates a cozy feeling. As you can see here I incorporated a few different types of garlands. I mixed Fall colors in with a eucalyptus garland that I had bought from Amazon a few years ago. If you look close you can also see that I took some clippings from our Olive tree and placed them in as well to create added color and texture.

This pumpkin is one of my favorite crafts that I made. Can you believe that it used to be a Dollar Tree styrofoam pumpkin? You can see how to make one right here.

“Adding the small details is what makes your guests feel special”

These plates and napkins were one of my Hobby Lobby deals! I paired it with a Dollar Tree pumpkin for an extra little treat for my guests to take home as a keepsake. It’s all about those extra touches and details that make your guests or your family feel special.

We love to entertain at our home. A few years ago we had a large custom farmhouse table built for our backyard. I am so glad that we did because this table has got a lot of use over the years. There have been many stories told and memories made while enjoying meals gathered around this table.

” The Fondest Memories are made gathered around the table.”

If you have a light fixture of some kind above your table, add some garland and greenery to bring the eye up. You may not believe it, but I found this chandelier in someones trash pile. I saw it and just knew that I had to save it! I went and knocked on the peoples door and asked if I could take it and fortunately they said yes! It is one of my favorites pieces in my yard. I purchased some battery operated candles from Amazon and placed them in there and voila! It’s stunning, especially at night.

Here’s a sneak peek of the patio and view from one angle and you can spy my dog Merle in the back!

I certainly hope that you all enjoyed my Outdoor Fall Dining Table and that it inspired you to decorate your own! Please let me know in the comments below if you gained some ideas while you were here.

As always, I appreciate each and everyone of you for taking the time to stop by! Have a wonderful and blessed day and I will see you back here soon!
