Diy Dollar Tree Pumpkin Decor

This Diy Dollar Tree Pumpkin decor is so cute and easy to make, that I just had to share it with you! My inspiration for this craft came from a trip to Hobby Lobby. Their aisles are loaded with a ton of inspiration and goodies for Fall!

Bring on the pumpkins, the Fall colors and all of the cinnamon scented candles that I can get. This craft will for sure inspire you and get you ready to get your Fall decorating going.

How to make this Diy Dollar Pumpkin Decor

Start this super cute Fall decor project by first tracing out your pumpkin shape onto the Self-adhesive Tile. Cut it out and set aside. I found that once I cut out the self-adhesive tile, the backing came off. No problem because we are going to use Mod Podge to adhere it to the wood pumpkin.

Ok, so let me share a little secret with you. I first tried the iron on method with the Mod Podge and it adhered well. However…. the iron flattened out all of the detail on the tile! Not good! The whole reason of the tile is the detail on it. Plan B was to grab another tile piece and apply it the traditional way by painting the Mod Podge on, applying the tile and then using a credit card to smooth it out.

That’s what I am here for…for you all to learn from my mistakes! You’re welcome Lol!

Here it is nice and secured with the Mod Podge.

Next, you will take this little pumpkin holder and disassemble it. It came apart fairly easy. We are going to use the two small pumpkins and then re-assemble the holder in a minute.

How to decorate your Diy Dollar Tree Pumpkin Decor

Grab some of the half wood beads and glue them around the pumpkin. The size beads that I am using are about 1/2″. You can really use any size that you like.

I painted both the small pumpkin and the larger one in Linen White by Rust-o-leum Chalk Paint. This is one of my favorite paints to use. For the smaller pumpkin, I used the color Taupe in Craft smart paint.

I used my Cricut machine to create a stencil saying, “Hello Fall.” If you do not have a Cricut machine, you can use a black sharpie or the Dollar Tree has stickers that would work just fine too.

Now it’s time to re-assemble the holder. I took only one of the sides and glued it towards the back of the bottom piece. This will allow your Diy Dollar Tree Pumpkin Decor to lean against it and be able to stand.

I love how simple this project was and how beautiful it turned out. I sure hope it has inspired you to make one for yourself!
