These Dollar Tree calendars are ALL the rage right now. I mean, everyone is trying to get their hands on one. There are so many crafts that you can make from them! I have a great Dollar Tree Fall Calendar sign to show you.
This sign is SUPER easy to make and you really only need a few items to make it, and you can make it with ANY calendar.
Supplies Needed:
- Calendar. I got mine from the Dollar Tree.
- 12×12 Wood piece.
- Paint. I used Waverly chalk paint.
- Mod Podge.
- Ribbon.
- Wood stem.
You’ll want to start by painting your piece of wood. Honestly, I got lucky and grabbed this scrap wood from one my Dads left over projects. It is more like 13×13 in size and about 1 inch thick.
Next, I tore out the page that I wanted and applied it to my wood piece with mod podge. NOTE: You want to apply a first coat of mod podge DIRECTLY onto to the wood BEFORE you place the calendar page on top. You will then add another layer of mod podge on top of the actual page to seal it. I prefer to use matte mod podge. You can find the one that I used here: https://amzn.to/3b5tnuZ. (I do get a small referral fee, which helps me out and allows me to continue these fun projects! So, thank you in advance. )
I set it aside to let it dry. I grabbed some ribbon that I found over at the Dollar Tree and decided to make a bow. They really have a ton of cute stuff there! Thank goodness it’s only a dollar!
Next, I took my wood stem and glued it to the top of the wood piece and added my bow. It really is that simple!
What a fun and easy project, right? And it only cost a few dollars to make!
