Here is what you’ll need to grab:

There are so many fun ways to decorate these little guys. I decided that I wanted to give mine a French Country vibe.

Let’s get started!

The colors that I am using for the birdhouse are Ivory and Mineral in the Waverly Chalk Paint brand. I gave it a good coat of the Ivory color first. Next, I taped it off to be able to create horizontal stripes.

The next step was to paint on the gray color.

It needed a little something on the roof, so I grabbed some metal ribbon. I measured out the length and cut it with a pair of scissors. Starting at the top, I hot glued it on, overlapping a little with each row going down.

I grabbed the candlestick and simply hot glued the birdhouse right on top of it.

To dress it up a little, I took some nautical rope that I got from the Dollar Tree and wrapped it around the base of the candlestick. I added some Floral and Spanish moss to the base of the birdhouse and on the opening to finish it off.

Here are a few others that I made!
