Christmas diy JOY Sign

This has got to be one of my FAVORITE Christmas crafts yet! Have you ever done a craft and thought, “Wow, this turned out even cuter than I thought it was going to be?” Well, this is that one for me! I will tell you now that you need to get over to the Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby quickly to get the supplies for this one before they’re gone.

Here is what you’ll need:

  • 3 Dollar Tree wood ornament signs
  • JOY cardboard letters from Hobby Lobby
  • Mod Podge
  • 3 sheets of scrapbook paper
  • Jute
  • Ribbon
  • Red, white and green paint
  • Glue gun

First, I started by tracing out the ornaments onto my scrapbook paper. I then cut them out and mod podged them onto my wood ornament pieces.

Setting those aside to dry, I then grabbed my letters and painted them. I used red, green and white for mine.

Once the letters were dry, I just simply grabbed my hot glue gun and glued them on to the ornaments.

I needed a way to attach them all, so I took my drill and made holes into the bottom of the wood pieces. Next, I took some jute and looped them through the holes and tied them together.

Finally, I grabbed some ribbon and made 3 cute bows and glued them on. That’s it!

I really love how this project turned out and how easy it was to make. I hope that you do too! If you did, will you please share it and PIN IT FOR LATER?

Thank you so much and Happy Creating!

Nikki ❤️
