I am so excited to share my Valentine Love Inspired Mantel with you! I’ve always been big on decorating my Mantel for the Holidays and seasons. I believe that it is such a focal point for the home. This year I seem to be getting into Valentines way more than I ever have. It’s so much fun and the colors are so happy!
If you have been following me on Facebook, you will notice a few diy’s that we have done over there and how I have used them in my styling. One of them in particular is this canvas picture. It was so simple and fun to make. You can watch a full video tutorial of how I made the LOVE picture here.
I wanted my color scheme to POP, so I have used various tones of red and pinks together. Most of the decor items used here are projects that I have made myself. You do not have to spend a ton of money to decorate, as you will see here. That’s what makes it so much fun!
I made this cute little gnome candle from a Dollar Tree candle and some window clings from there as well. I made the heart from scrap book paper and mod podge.

How cute are these little guys? I bought them last year over at Home Goods.
I found this adorable heart garland from Ross. The garland on top is actually pumpkins from my Fall decor. I thought they worked well because they look like pom poms. A great rule for decorating is to find items that are neutral in color so that you can repurpose them into other seasons.
I made the heart themed tree from felt stickers from the Dollar Tree and a styrofoam tree form from Michaels. You can see how I made it here.
The pillows are from The 99 cent store and the LOVE one lights up!
