With the increased use of hand sanitizer and hand washing, my skin and hands are so dry! Add the winter season in the mix and my skin is just begging for moisture! The alcohol in the hand sanitizer is so drying and tends to make our skin itchy and rough. Can you relate? This HOMEMADE LAVENDER SCRUB is such a lovely treat. It’s like a mini spa treatment in a jar!
Exfoliating your skin is a great way to soothe and heal it. This homemade scrub is an excellent way to help your skin and pamper yourself. You will be amazed at how soft and smooth your hands will feel after using it and the lavender scent will leave you feeling relaxed!
How to make your own homemade Lavender Scrub
I have two different recipes that I used in this post, so I will be sharing and showing you both. They are both great to use and offer the same excellent results. You can make homemade scrubs with whatever scents you prefer. I happen to LOVE Lavender for it’s relaxing benefits and I just love how it smells.

How to use your Homemade Lavender Scrub
It’s important to always use clean hands when scooping out your scrub to avoid any bacteria getting in it. I like to keep a jar in the kitchen next to my sink. After I wash my hands, I scoop out a bit and gently rub the scrub all over my hands. I like to do if for a minute or so to really exfoliate and remove the dry skin. Rinse and dry your hands and feel how smooth and amazing your skins feels!! You can use this in the shower as well. It’s great for your feet and elbows and anywhere else you feel that you need it.
I would recommend storing it for no longer than a month or two, if it will even last that long!
This Homemade Lavender Scrub makes a great gift too! I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t want to be pampered with a mini spa treatment! Add some twine and a homemade tag and you have a beautiful gift.
