I have a confession to make. I love the look of wreaths, but when it comes to making them… let’s just say that they are not my jam! However, I have come up with the CUTEST and EASIEST idea on how to make a wreath that anyone can handle. This feather boa snowman wreath is about as easy as an diy can get and listen…if I can make it, so can you!!
Here is what you will need for this project:
Dollar Tree Snowman Wreath Form
3 white feather boas
Black Mesh
Glue gun
Embellishments
How to make a Feather Boa Snowman Wreath
First, start by pulling the end of the feather boa through the wire form and securing it with a knot.
Next, just start wrapping the feather boa around the wreath form. I started at the top and worked my way around clockwise. It took one feather boa to do the top part and two to do the bottom portion.
Continue the same process around the bottom circle.
To create the hat, I used black mesh that I picked up over at the Dollar Tree. In fact, all of the supplies for this project can be found there. I started off by tying a knot around the wire to secure it.
Next, I wrapped the mesh around the hat form and secured it with a dab of hot glue.
To create the brim of the hat, I just simply rolled up some of the mesh like a tootsie roll and glued in on top.
I glued on this sprig of greenery to the hat and THAT’S IT!!
What do you all think? Will you be making one of these feather boa snowmen wreaths for yourself? I sure hope that it inspired you.
