Dollar Tree Wood Pumpkin Sign

By Nikki Ernandes

Fall is almost here and I must say, that it’s my absolute favorite time of the year. I mean, who doesn’t love the cool crisp air, the smells of cinnamon and pumpkin EVERYTHING, and just the fact that the Holidays are right around the corner?

I headed over to one of my favorite stops… The Dollar Tree and boy oh boy, do they have a lot of cute stuff for Fall and for Fall crafting. I saw a cute wood pumpkin and knew I had to grab it! Let me show you what I did with it! First, here is what you will need for this project.

Supplies Needed:

  • Dollar Tree pumpkin wood cut out
  • Mod podge
  • scrapbook paper
  • ribbon
  • hot glue gun
  • Dollar Tree burlap leaf cutout
  • wood beads
  • jute ribbon
  • Dollar Tree Welcome Fall sign
  • wood piece for stem

I started off by taking a piece of scrap book paper and tracing out the pumpkin. Next, I mod podged the piece of paper onto the wood piece. NOTE: I used the back, smooth side of the pumpkin. You can flip it over and use the other side for Halloween! You can get two projects out of one! Yay!

Next, I wrapped jute around the little welcome sign.

I grabbed my hot glue gun and glued the sign onto my pumpkin. SIDE NOTE… I’m in desperate need of a manicure here! Don’t judge! Lol

I grabbed my little wood piece and glued it on to make a stem. I saw a package of burlap leaves at The Dollar Tree and thought one would look good in the center. Looking cute, huh?

I was thinking it was looking a little wonky under the stem and it needed something else to dress it up.

I decided to look through my ribbon stash and make a bow. It was just what it needed! Don’t you think that bows make everything look a little cuter?

Check out how cute this turned out! This DOLLAR TREE pumpkin took on a whole new look! What’s even better is that it cost under $5.00 to make it! I hope that you love it!

If you do, would you please SHARE it with your friends on Facebook and PIN it on Pinterest? I would appreciate it!

Thanks for stopping by and as always….. HAPPY CREATING!
