diy dollar tree wood ornaments

These little ornaments are so cute and easy to make. This is a great diy to make for you or someone else or even to use as a gift tag. Did I mention that they only cost about $1.00 to make?

Here is what you’ll need:

  • Tumbling Tower game from the Dollar Tree
  • Christmas wood stickers
  • Jute
  • Ribbon
  • Hot glue
  • Paint
  • Super Glue (optional)

I began by taking out 5 of the wood blocks from the Tumbling Tower game. I used super glue to glue them together. You can totally use hot glue if you prefer. Drying time was only a few minutes.

I grabbed some Waverly antique glaze to give it a stained wood look. This part it totally optional! If you don’t have any glaze, you can use watered down brown paint.

Next, I grabbed the Christmas Tree wood sticker and some Waverly chalk paint in the color Fern and painted the little tree. After, I hot glued it to the wood piece.

Next, I grabbed some jute and hot glued it to the back to make a hanger.

I added a cute little bow to it.

Now is this an EASY craft to make or what? I ended up making about 6 of them in no time at all.

I can’t wait to add them to my Christmas Tree this year! Do you think that you will make some? I would love to know how you will decorate yours.

Don’t forget to Pin for later!!!!
